making valentines a family affair (with a two and a half year old)

Last year, I mentioned how much I loved making Valentines as a family growing up (and how I can't wait to do the same with Burke... and now Piper Jane too!).
Fast forward 330ish days and we're at attempt #2 of family-made valentines.
We printed out "We heart you" messages on cardstock...
...cut the messages apart...
...colored and decorated...
...and strung them in rows.

Crafty bonding? I'll take it any day! And if you're looking for super simple homemade valentines to make with your little ones, this was easy and fun.
