we're doing our first Sew Along!
The Blue Dress (the Gap Knock Off, remember?) tutorial has been tweaked, perfected, and split into daily segments. Sew with us every day for a week and, at the end, you'll have a gorgeous Blue Dress. Ok, really, you can make it any color you want. But all three I've made so far are various blue hues. :)
So gather some fabric (I used a yard of fabric and a yard of lining fabric) and get ready. The Blue Dress Sew Along begins Monday, July 25th (sorry I put 7.23 on facebook).

ReplyDeleteHey Jennifer! The one on the right is an aqua-ish linen. You know how I said I'd make one for my sis because she was so cute modeling it for me? Yep, that's the one for her. Shhh. :)
Can't wait to joing the sew along :) I already have my blue fabric picked out! :)
ReplyDeleteI plan to make a dress in the Sew A Long. Please send out a shopping list recommendation before the weekend! We have a family photo shoot right after this week of sewing and I want to wear this dress!! Plus if anyone has any tips on how to allow for "extra room" on the front measurement i would appreciate it. Currently 7.5 mos pregnant!
