Y'all sure know how to make us feel good- thanks for all of the design*sponge love this last week!
That's us! WOOHOO!
I'm not exaggerating when I say that design*sponge is one of my favorite sites ever... I'm sure you can imagine the jumping and dancing (and maybe even some fist pumping) that took over our living room when they said they were featuring the cocktail napkins.
In honor of the vintage sheet cocktail napkins, and the deviled eggs from those pics, we put together a little deviled egg tutorial for y'all. Love this recipe for both the ease and yumminess factors (and don't deviled eggs kind of have a retro vibe? Perfect for a vintage-y party).
To make deviled eggs, you'll need:
-6 hardboiled eggs, peeled and sliced lengthwise
-2 T mayo or miracle whip
-2 T pickle relish
-1 t prepared mustard
-salt and pepper to taste
-a sprinkle of paprika for garnish
1. Remove the yolks from the sliced, hardboiled eggs.
2. Smash the yolks.
3. Add in mayo, relish, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well.
4. Scoop into hollowed out egg 'holes.' *Tip- a baby spoon is the perfect size for this.
5. Sprinkle paprika on top...
6. ...and serve. Yum!
Still pinching ourselves just a little. :)
Oh yum... I love deviled eggs. And great photos!
