DIY balloon garland (pretty parties guest tutorial!)

The first time I visited Bump Smitten, I got lost in the loveliness for an hour. Picture after picture, idea after idea for gorgeous baby showers? Umm, yes please!

Balloons are such a great way to decorate for a baby shower, bridal shower or birthday party. Here's a simple way to add a fun backdrop -- that you can do ahead of time -- to either a photobooth, dessert table, or even hanging over a sit-down luncheon. Choose a color palette that works well with your party design and try using some patterns. Be creative!!! 

Materials Needed:

Sewing Machine

Cardstock Paper (Download rainbow paper here)

Scissors

Ribbon

Tape

Balloon Template (Download here)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Print the balloon template on your cardstock paper

2. Cut out the balloon, just inside the dotted line

3. Sew each balloon down the middle, grouping 4-6 together

4. Tie ribbons on each, or every other balloon

5. Hang from the ceiling with tape. Enjoy!
