friday fun finds: making my to-do list longer

Happy Friday, y'all!

I have to confess, I both love seeing your friday fun finds each week and hate it a little.  Here's the thing: my to-do-before-baby list is a little ambitious already (haha- your comments about exactly how ambitious it is made me laugh!).  Then, every Friday, I find all of these projects that I must. try. immediately.  Which just makes the list longer!  Darn it!

Here are a few things I added to my to-do list this week:
I adore this part-handmade-part-refashioned dress at our hartbeat... love the fabric (I could take a yard of every pattern from Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks collection!), love the petticoat fluff, love it!

And I will be DEFINITELY be making these whoopie pies by Mrs. Bettie Rocker for some sort of festivity or party favor this summer... fabulous!
Speaking of parties, you must check out all of the fabulous details at this pink party by Blissfully Content... they're just lovely!
Love these spray painted frames at impatiently praying for patience (ps- I am always looking for ornate-y frames at Goodwill and never seem to find them... any tips for me? Should I be looking elsewhere?)
Also, love these spray painted bottles at someday crafts... wouldn't it be fun to put a mini-collection of kelly green, navy and aqua bottles on a shelf in Burke's new big boy bedroom?

Here's your featured button, to-do list extenders:

Now, onto this week's party- we'd love it if you'd link up your latest and greatest Friday Fun Find- something you made, a tutorial you put together (or tried out!), a product the rest of us need, a scrumptious recipe- whatever you're loving this week!
A few guidelines:
1. Include a short description of what you're linking to (as well as the name of your blog if you want).  That way people can go see the fun finds that interest them most.
2. Link to your specific post, and not to the main page of your blog.
3. Here's the party button if you want to link back to this party from you blog.

  3. Don't all our to do lists keep growing. I just finished a kids play tent and now I need accessories to go with it! My goodness, it never ends. Great to do list you have by the way. Food is always a must, especially if it freezes well.

  4. Umm, umm, ummmm!! Love whoopie pies! We usually make them in the fall in all sorts of flavours... pumpkin whoopie pies w/ a maple filling, chocolate w/ peanut butter filling, and chocolate w/ strawberries and real whipped cream! I love making the "cookie" portion up ahead of time and keeping them in the freezer. That way I can make them up "fresh" each time and never have more than we NEED on hand (However our boys are sure we NEED a whole batch each time, ha ha!!)

  8. Thanks so much for the feature!! As far as where to find ornate frames. I would look at garage sales. But I got all of mine at hobby lobby during a half off sale. But I bought all of mine years ago and was tired of the gold and have been wanting to paint them for a long time.
