organizational help
As you tackle organizational projects for Day 1 of the I Heart New Years Challenge, here are some systems I've seen (or used!) to get a craft room (or any room needing some pretty organizational tools) in order.
1- Pretty fabric scrap organization at Prudent Baby
2- How to install a pegboard with Apartment Therapy
3- Make your own fabric organizers with Smashed Peas & Carrots
4- Fabric-lined cans at Pickup Some Creativity
5- No-sew fabric covered boxes at Wink Designs
6- Fabric organizers recommended by The Cottage Mama (haven't tried them, but have you seen her stash of fabric? I'd trust her on this one)
7- Secret storage books by brenna at design*sponge
8- Organize your gift wrap and ribbon with Welcome Sunshine Home on Blue Cricket Designs
Or perhaps a fabric covered storage container and a ribbon wrapped storage container are just the things for you (you can make either one using materials you have on hand!).
Oh, and this fabric-folding tutorial by the happy zombie changed my life. I LOVE looking at my color coordinated, uniformly folded rows of fabric... so lovely.
I love anything organization. I wish I had the space for a craft room. I think that would help organize my craft mess.

thanks for the motivation!
Thanks for including me ladies! I LOVE, LOVE my fabric organizers. It makes it much more fun to create beautiful things when you can see what you have to work with. I love this organization series you are doing!!

I love the ribbon organization! and the fabric bin... I organized and cleaned out the laundry room cuboards and shelves which were a mess! Now I can make some cute curtains for there and the kitchen.
