friday fun finds: cake cake cake

In my 'real life' (read, non-pregnant life), I am not a huge cake person (though I love cupcakes... weird, right?).  Chocolate chip cookies? Check.  Rhubarb pie? As much as possible. Brownies? Yes please.  But cake doesn't really make it into the yummy-goodness running.

However, my current 20-weeks-pregnant state renders my usual preferences out of whack and I all I can think about is CAKE... Yellow cake with chocolate frosting, carrot cake, white cake, red velvet cake... Mmmmm, my tummy is growling just making this list.  And so, sweet friends, my Fun Find of the week is a little collection that may or may not also be my current to-bake list (just as soon as I get home from the beach and have access to an oven).

1. White wedding cake recipe at recipezaar (anyone have a fabulous frosting recipe to pair with this???)
2. DIY red velvet cupcake-in-a-jar at cakies... don't these look delicious? And fancy enough to serve at a shower... Fabulous!
 3. Yellow cake three ways at bakerella. All I can say is YUM.

Did you stumble across anything fabulous this week?  We'd love for you to share YOUR Friday Fun Find- your To Bake List, something you made, a product the rest of us need, a recipe, a tutorial you put together (or one you saw and loved)- whatever you're loving this week!
A few guidelines:
1. Include a short description of what you're linking to (as well as the name of your blog if you want).  That way people can go see the fun finds that interest them most.
2. Link to your specific post, and not to the main page of your blog.
3. Here's the party button if you want to link back to this party from you blog.
